Message
- Faith Sometimes Leads to Visible Victory. (Vv. 32-35a)

- Who shut the mouths of lions
- Quenched the fury of the flames
- Women received back their dead.
- Faith Often Leads Through Suffering. (vv. 35b-38)
- Tortured
- Mocked, flogged, imprisoned
- Stoned, sawn in two, murdered
- Homeless, destitute, mistreated.
Philippians 1:29, “It has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake”
Isaiah 43:2, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you… when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned.”
- Faith is Fulfilled in Christ. (vv. 39-40)
Ask Yourself:
- Where are you tempted to give up because faith isn’t “working”?
- What would it look like to believe God even if the outcome doesn’t change?
Faith isn’t proven by success; it’s proven by endurance.
