Hebrews 12:1-3

1. Throw Off Everything that Hinders and the Sin.. (V. 1)

Throw off everything that hinders.
The Sins that so easily entails.

2. Run With Perseverance the Race Marked Our for Us.. (V. 1b)

“He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6

“The steps of a man are established by the Lord… though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand.”  Psalm 37:23–24

3. Fix Your Eyes On Jesus. (vv. 2-3)
Why?

• He is the pioneer and perfecter of our faith.
• He endured the cross for the joy set before him.
• He is seated at the right hand of God.

Application:

• Identify and lay aside your weights and sins.
• Endure your assigned race.
• Fix your eyes on Jesus.

BABY BOTTLE DRIVE: Baby bottle drive begins today to help fund the Osceola Pregnancy Center. Grab a bottle and fill it up.

FOOD PANTRY: Our church will be providing a team to distribute food for the elderly and those needing food. This is provided by Southeastern Food bank. Training: Wednesday, June 18 at 10:00am we will go for evangelism training. Distribution: Wednesday, June 25 from 10-12 we will be distributing the food. Write “Food Pantry” on a connection card and please jump in and be the hands and feet of Jesus.
KIDS CONNECT: Kids Connect training June 8th from 12 to 2pm. If you are a Kids Connect volunteer, please plan on attending! Lunch will be provided.
