Part 5: Jesus Meets us Where We Are

1. PROVISION — He meets us in our everyday need. Lk 5:1-11
   1. Jesus enters ordinary work and speaks with authority (vv. 3-5)
   2. Obedience to His word, beyond comfort, expands fruitfulness and calling (vv. 6–11)
2. RESTORATION—He welcomes the excluded. Luke 5:12-16
   1. The unclean man approaches in humility and faith (v. 12)
   2. Jesus touches and restores access, dignity, and worship (vv. 13–14)
3. FORGIVENESS—He addresses our deepest need. Luke 5:17-26
   1. Jesus forgives sins before healing the body (v. 20)
   2. Healing confirms His authority to forgive sins as God (vv. 24–25)
4. IDENTITY—He calls us to follow. Luke 5:27-32
   1. Jesus calls Levi and gives him a new life (vv. 27–28)
   2. Grace creates a new community marked by joy and repentance (vv. 29–32)
5. RENEWAL—Authority to bring the new. Luke 5:33-39
   1. Jesus reveals a new season centered on His presence (vv. 34–35)
   2. New life cannot be contained in old forms (vv. 36–39)
